Principal Engineer with 20+ years designing and scaling real-time distributed data and AI platforms across cybersecurity, enterprise SaaS, public safety, and large-scale digital infrastructure.
I architect systems that operate at trillions-of-events scale under adversarial, mission-critical conditions. My work sits at the intersection of real-time streaming architectures, AI-native threat detection, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agentic AI systems.
Across my career at CrowdStrike, HubSpot, Dataminr, Axon, ADP, and MLB Advanced Media, I have held Principal Engineer, Staff Engineer, and Director-level roles — the most senior individual-contributor and technical leadership designations in the industry. At each, I held platform-level ownership, shaping how data and intelligence systems are engineered, scaled, and secured.
I am a selected member of the Forbes Technology Council and a senior member of the IEEE.

When I'm not building data platforms, I volunteer as a coach with NFTE (Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship), helping high school students develop business and technology skills.
I have rescued and raised dogs throughout my life — most recently a pitbull here in the U.S. I donate to dog rescue organizations regularly.
I also spend time tending a vegetable garden I built from scratch in my backyard.
